Vinyl banners are great tools for advertising and temporary signage but hanging your banner can be a challenge if you do not have the right finishing for your banner.
Banners can be finished in a variety of ways depending on how and where the banner will need to be mounted.
Grommets – grommets are a great finishing option for your banner. Grommets are small metal eyelets that are punched around the perimeter of the banner. They create strong, consistent holes around the banner that allow the banner to be mounted.
Pole Pockets – pole pockets can be a helpful finishing option for banners that need to be mounted using poles or rope, or that require a frame system to hold the banner up. The pole pocket can be sized custom to the pole or frame, to ensure the banner fits securely once mounted. Pole pockets can be added to the top and bottom of the banner for hanging on pole bracket systems, like street pole banners.
Banner Hems – hems on a banner are a good option for any banner that will be mounted indoor or outdoor. Hems can be made using a banner tape, a heat weld of the banner material (recommended for outdoor) or with a reinforced webbing (recommended for high wind areas) to ensure the banner does not rip or tear.
