Pairing reinvented shadow boxing and heavy bag drills with fat-burning cardio, core work and plyometrics, the trainers at BoxUnion sculpts, leans and champions a fit physique in a thoughtful, motivational environment.
This is where we started and along with the assistance of the Architects, we developed the Signs and Graphics for BoxUnion, a new concept in fitness & training.
The story for the Logo sign behind the front desk was the bubbles and fizz of soda pop. To create this feeling, a repeating “bubble” graphic was given added dimension and the Logo was then floated on top.
The 3 dimensional bubbles were cut out of a half-inch thick wood based substrate and backed with eighth-inch thick PVC. This panel was then inserted flush to the wall and blended to make it appear that was carved directly into the sheet-rock. We then added half-inch thick clear Acrylic Lettering with stud mounts to the face of the wall to create the look that the letters were floating on the surface of bubbles. The end result was a subtle logo that makes you want to look at in more detail once you see all that is going on.
In addition to the Reception Logo Wall, we also created a series of graphics inside the workout studio that included lettering, colorful stripes and 8-foot x 5-foot boxing glove fist bump logo.
